- I have Windows XP. After I successfully install Comfy Software, I get a "Black Screen" - What should I do?
This error occurs when there are problems with the Windows XP account used when the software was installed.
Comfy software needs to be installed using an Administrator account, with a name that does not contain any special characters.
To fix this error, first uninstall the Comfy software that caused the problem, then follow one of these options:
- Changing the current user account:
Go into the Windows XP Control Panel and choose "User Accounts".
If it is not already so, change the current user's name into a name that contains only plain English characters.
Change the user's settings into a Computer Administrator.
- Creating a new user account:
Go into the Windows XP Control Panel and choose "User accounts".
Create a new user account with a name that contains only plain English characters.
When given the option - choose to set the user as Computer Administrator.
Once the user account is ready, restart your computer, and install the Comfy software using the Administrator account you've just set up.
